Donations

To donate an artifact, the owner of the artifact should send to the Museum:

  • a picture of the artifact
  • serial number of the artifact if this exists
  • a description of the artifact
  • who is donating the artifact
  • where the artifact is located

With these details in hand the Museum staff can determine if the artifact fits into the Museum collection and make recommendations to the Museum’s Board of Directors in regards to acceptance.

How to donate money

The Museum accepts donations of money in memory of a museum member. Donations in memory can be designated to go to:

  • A specific Museum project
  • The Manitoba Agricultural Museum Foundation
  • The Manitoba Agricultural Museum’s general revenue account

As well the Museum accepts donations of money from the public and volunteer community. These donations can also be allocated to:

  • A specific Museum project
  • The Manitoba Agricultural Museum Foundation
  • The Manitoba Agricultural Museum’s general revenue account

The Manitoba Agricultural Museum is a registered charity and any donations of money made to the museum will result in the donor receiving a registered charity tax receipt from the Museum.
