Harvest Helpers

Time Travel
Enter the year 1918 through a time machine built by the museum’s professor, and visit 6 characters from the past.

Bakers Bonanza
Get a taste of pioneercooking
- Prepare dough and bake bread in a pioneer stove

- Measure and mix, cut and bake biscuits in a woodstove
- Separate cream from milk by using a hand separator
- Churn cream into butter and enjoy freshly baked bread and biscuits
- Includes a tour
Daily Duties
Find out what a day is like without electricity, running water, and money to run to the store!
Simple Machines
- Learn about simple machines as you participate in a scavenger hunt in our authentic pioneer village.
- Compliments the Grade 5 science curriculum.
Tour
Let our tour guides help you see life as it was during pioneer times. Our pioneer village has been stuck in time since the early 1900′s. It has Log Houses, Blacksmith Shop, Gristmill, General Store, Post Office, Train Station, Steam Engines and much more!
Barter for candy, stamp post cards, check out “Big Roy” as a part of your tour!
